Kitchen Organisation & Catering Skills

Ever thought you would like someone to come to your business premises and work with you, your manager and staff in upgrading skills. Or, would do you need help in the process of business set up? Then this is the course for you!

What we offer:

A course aimed at the smaller catering business, reinforcing HACCP regulations and Health & Safety guidelines, ensuring staff awareness of these.

Aims:

  • To familiarise staff with HACCP regulations for safe storage, preparation and cooking of food.
  • To put into place a systematic cleaning programme as required by HACCP, with emphasis on the safe use of cleaning chemicals.
  • To create an awareness of the health & safety guidelines within a food premises
  • To put in place a quality assurance and portion control system, where appropriate.

Course Format:

  • The course is delivered over a four day period- four hours per day, with both directed and workplace training.
  • It is ideal that trainees will have successfully completed the EHOA Primary Course in Food Hygiene.
  • The duration may change with the inclusion of FAS certification- see below.

Important note to FAS Community Services Supervisors:       

 

We are now offering an opportunity for your CE group to achieve FAS Certification in Level 3 Minor Awards, Food Preparation and Bakery.

If you wish, the training for the modules will be included in the delivery of the above course. However, the duration fo the course will change. Please contact us for details.
